The 31st Southeast Asian Games is a very special event in the history of Southeast Asian Games in general as well as to the prepara tion, operation and organization of the SEA Games of the host country (Vietnam) in particular because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Steering Committee of SEA Games 31 is currently in urgent preparation for the biggest regional sports festival, which will take place from May 12 to May 23, 2022, in Hanoi and 11 neighbouring localities.

In the last days of February 2022, the Steering Committee of the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam has approved and announced Stavian Chemical Joint Stock Company as a Diamond Sponsor. Stavian Chemical is the sixth Diamond Sponsor of SEA Games 31.

The 31st Southeast Asian Games will take place from May 12 to May 23, 2022, in Hanoi and 11 neighbouring localities. It will feature 40 sports with 526 events.

Currently, the preparation for SEA Games 31 is being carried out very actively and urgently. Under the slogan of SEA Games 31: “For a Stronger South East Asia”, Vietnam affirms its highest responsibility to the ASEAN family in general, regional sports in particular, as well as its determination, efforts and effectiveness in the prevention of the pandemic.
