SG - International Business Manager - PE/PP/Polymer

Stavian Chemical is currently ranked No.22 of TOP 100 largest polymer distributors globally and ranked No.6 in TOP 100 biggest chemical distributors in the Asia Pacific region (according to the ICIS 2020 ranking)

We are growing quickly and are seeking a motivated and talented sales professional to further our market leadership, who will:

1. Assess and identify new opportunities for growth in current and prospective markets. Develop and maintain customer data base by contacting, collect inquiry and sending offer regularly.

2. In charge of buying and selling plastic resins including Polyolefin, PVC from local producers, distributors and selling Polyolefin, PVC, PET to assigned existing customers and new customers.

3. Represent company at meetings and conferences domestic and international tradeshows to promote company’s trademarks and products.

4. Maintain and develop relationship with local resin producers

5. Assisting Branch Manager to monitor logistics, inventory management and cargo allocations

6. Market research:

• Conduct market research by gathering market information for price setting to specific markets.
• Prepare marketing reports; market situation and competitors’ products to analyze market trend based on region, seasoning and customer habit.
• Marketing idea and strategy to gain potential customer’s interest.

LOCATION:

• LATAM: The USA, Brazil, Mexico
• Europe: Iberia, Spain, etc.
• APAC: Malaysia, Philippines, China

Requirement:

• Mimimum 2 years of experience in trading polymers in local and international markets.
• In-depth understanding about polymer market
• Able to be on abroad or domestic business trips.
• In-depth understanding of the latest business policies and regulations.

Skills:

• Demonstrable analytical thinking & business insight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding leadership quality and negotiation skills
• Time and task management.
• Be able to work independently under high pressure and flexibility work environment. 

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, International Trade or other related fields. MBA degree is preferred.
